So what does it mean when you see ‘Subscribe’ on my web site?
No, it is not something for which you pay. To‘Subscribe’ to my blogs is free and meant to save time!
Blogs are a type of web site that may get updated on an irregular basis. It can be time consuming to check a web site every day to see if anything new has been added. When you can Subscribe to a blog, it can make it much easier to keep up.
So how do you subscribe? You will perhaps need a Feed Reader which will get the information from the blogs and display them in one place for you to read. There are many free web based feed readers available. Most people now use Google Reader.
Generally, you just need to click on the Subscribe link and it will take you to a page where you choose a reader and it will add it to your subscribed feeds at that reader. Or, you can right click on the link and copy the link location and manually add it to your feed reader. Whichever is easier. On my Mac, I just clicked on the ‘Subscribe’ link and that was it.
My blog has a Subscribe button towards the top of the page.
